The 2026 season

Tag it early. Cut it fresh.

Pre-cut trees and live balled-and-burlapped trees, ready to plant, at both farms. To buy a live B&B tree, please shop our pre-dug trees — we don't dig trees personally selected from the fields. Our staff is still limited, so please plan accordingly.

Good to know

Questions we hear a lot.

Can we cut our own tree?

Yes — with a bow saw only, no power saws. Your tree needs to be tagged by an Exley's employee and paid for before cutting.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, as long as it's on a leash and you have a plastic bag to clean up accidents.

Do you load the tree?

Yes. Once the tree has been netted or tied, we use sisal rope to tie it to the roof of your car. (Exley's is not responsible for damage to your vehicle.)

When can I pick up my tree?

We need 3 days' notice to prepare your tree and have it ready for you — send us a tree pickup request.

Do you flock trees?

Sorry, no.

Are you open if it's raining?

Check our Facebook page for weather updates and other closings.

Photographers and events?

Photographers are welcome at both locations — email for terms: Monroeville, exleyfarms525@gmail.com; Sewell, chris@exleyslandscaping.com. Parties and celebrations are Monroeville only (spring, summer and fall).

Our story

It started as a lawn service.

Exley's Landscaping Service began over four decades ago with W. Robert Exley. As the business steadily grew, Robert and his wife Amelia bought more land in hopes of starting a Christmas tree farm and retail garden center.

In 1980 the garden center opened, and a new era of Exley's began. By the early 1990s both of Robert's sons had graduated from Temple University with degrees in landscape design — and joined the team.
